Register for Exploring Complementary and Integrative Health Course

Are you interested in learning more about the evidence behind complementary and integrative health? Join us for a free online class that explores health information resources to increase access and understanding of complementary and integrative health, including insights into Eastern and Western medicine.

Class Details:

  • Dates: January 13–31, 2025
  • Format: Flexible and online, available 24/7 through Moodle
  • Time Commitment: Approximately 2 hours per week
  • Assignments: One 1-page assignment at the end of each week
  • CE Credits: Earn 4 CE

This engaging course will help you:

  • Define complementary and integrative health, including Eastern and Western medicine
  • Explore various approaches to complementary and integrative health
  • Identify the risks and benefits of these health practices
  • Learn strategies to avoid scams and fraudulent claims related to CIH products and services
  • Utilize trusted resources like NCCIH, PubMed, and MedlinePlus to locate reliable health information

We’ll also cover NNLM initiatives addressing health misinformation and the environmental determinants of health, equipping you with valuable tools to navigate and share accurate health information. Registration is required.
