Advancing Evidence-Based Interventions in Rural Communities Webinar

Posted by on March 12th, 2025 Posted in: All Members, Webinars and Courses

Join us for the Advancing Evidence-Based Interventions in Rural Communities webinar Monday, April 7, 2024 at noon MT with guest speaker Becky Bucklin, Research Manager for the University of Iowa Prevention Research Center for Rural Health. This session is part of the NNLM Region 6 Speaker Spotlight webinar series.

The Putting Public Health Evidence in Action training, originally created by the Cancer Prevention and Control Research Network, helps health practitioners and program planners apply evidence-based approaches. University of Iowa Prevention Research Center for Rural Health adapted it for rural and micrometropolitan communities, incorporating feedback from community advisors and trainees. This webinar will summarize key points from the six training modules, highlight rural examples of the principles in action, and introduce the accompanying activities and resources.

This webinar offers one MLA credit, one CHES advanced-level CE credit, and one Illinois Certified Nursing Education credit (see if your state accepts CNE). For additional information and registration, visit the webinar page.
