On Friday, July 25, 2025, beginning at 9:00 p.m. EDT, the National Library of Medicine (NLM) will perform essential maintenance on its data center. This critical upgrade is necessary to maintain the reliability and stability of its services.
The planned outage is expected to last 24 hours or longer. During this period, users may experience intermittent access or reduced performance across various NLM resources, including databases like PubMed, search tools, submission systems, and programmatic services.
NLM acknowledges the inconvenience this may cause and extends its sincere apologies for the disruption. Every effort will be made to minimize the impact, and timely updates will be provided throughout the maintenance.
