Advancing Disaster Preparedness and Everyday Readiness Webinar

Ready to strengthen your disaster preparedness toolkit with evidence-informed resources and strategies? Don’t miss the next month’s session, Advancing Disaster Preparedness and Everyday Readiness: Leveraging the Pediatric Pandemic Network (PPN) Resource Central. Two expert presenters will guide you through trusted tools and practical approaches to enhance health education and community resilience.

  • Date/Time: March 18, 2026 at noon MT
  • Guest Speakers: Dr. Paul J. Stengel and Christine Willis, MLIS, AHIP
  • Description: Access to trusted, evidence-informed disaster preparedness resources is essential for strengthening health education and community resilience. This session introduces the Pediatric Pandemic Network (PPN) and Resource Central, a librarian-curated, SME-reviewed database of more than 4,000 multilingual resources designed to support healthcare professionals, families, and schools. Participants will learn practical strategies to efficiently locate, organize, and disseminate high-quality preparedness materials to enhance health literacy, informed decision-making, and community outreach.
