Community Engagement Ambassador Announcement

Posted in: #CC/Academic List, #Health Interest List, #Health Sciences List, #Public/K-12 List

NNLM Region 4 is thrilled to announce the recipients for our Community Engagement Ambassador program. The program was awarded to both the University of New Mexico and Montana State University. We are super enthusiastic to be working with this amazing team of professionals. During our first meeting, which took place this week, we discussed strategies and skills that have been used by both to reach Native American populations. We are excited about some of the ideas that came forth and believe that this partnership will help further our efforts to reach these communities and successfully help increase the programming and information integrating language and cultural practices. We are also confident that the work accomplished through this project will be beneficial for our region helping to implement similar programming in other states and bringing together partnership opportunities at a regional level to reach Native American communities.

Congratulations University of New Mexico and Montana State University!
