Covid, Monkeypox, and the Next Pandemic: How Libraries Can Prepare

Posted in: #CC/Academic List, #Health Interest List, #Health Sciences List, #Public/K-12 List, All Members

Registration is open for the upcoming webinar “Covid, Monkeypox, and the Next Pandemic: How Libraries Can Prepare”.

Monkeypox is far from the last pandemic of our time. As the impact of climate change on the planet ensures that pandemics will be increasingly likely to occur in the future, many libraries are at a loss as to how to serve the public and prevent the virus’ spread while keeping staff safe. Much like Covid and its many mutations, information about monkeypox is still evolving alongside misconceptions and stigmas.

Join us for an informational discussion that will incorporate the perspectives of a public health expert and a public library leader.

The webinar will be held on September 20th, 2022 10 AM PT/ 11 AM MT/12 PM CT.
