Librarians looking to deepen their outreach to students will find valuable insights in the upcoming NNLM webinar, Developing Long-Term Partnerships: Programming for K–12 and College Students, on November 17, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. MT. This one-hour session highlights how meaningful collaborations can support sustained, multi-level programming that benefits both younger learners and college students.
Led by Dr. Maria Krol and Dr. Maryann Perez Brescia of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses Connecticut Chapter, the webinar will provide an overview of projects with adolescents around health literacy, a train the trainer model with college students, and a five-week work force development series introducing middle school students to careers in nursing.
The session is ideal for librarians of all experience levels seeking ways to engage with local schools, colleges, and community organizations. Participants will come away with ideas for replicating or adapting these strategies in their own communities.
Registration is required. Questions about this event should be directed to NNLM Region 7.
