Raising the awareness of young people to the opportunities within the field of library science is essential for attracting future talent. This webinar on June 18, 2025 at 2-3pm ET (1-2pm CT/noon-1pm MT/11am-noon PT) will present a curriculum designed for high school students aimed at educating them about the library science profession while also equipping them with foundational skills in health literacy.
In this one-hour session, we will review each module of the curriculum, discuss activities we included, share best practices for encouraging student engagement, and reflect on insights from a high school teacher regarding the curriculum’s effectiveness. This program is ideal for teachers, librarians, other educators, and individuals who work with high school students.
Registration is required. Can’t attend live? Register anyway to receive the recording after the session.
