#citeNLM Wikipedia Edit-a-thon for Fall 2023. Graphic says “You’re Invited! Help us improve Wiki health articles on disaster preparedness!” and includes icons of the Wikipedia logo, a red siren, a first aid kit, and a research article with a magnifying glass.

Registration is now open for NNLM’s Fall 2023 #CiteNLM Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon, and we’re super exCITEd for you to participate. Whether you are brand new to Wikipedia or a long-time editor, this event is for you. The focus of this #CiteNLM editing campaign is disaster preparedness.

Join us online on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 to:

  • Learn about the basics of Wikipedia and the importance of improving the quality of health-related articles;
  • Receive guidance on how to add citations from trustworthy sources like the National Library of Medicine; and
  • Spend time updating articles with other health-information enthusiasts.

Everything you need to know about setting up a Wikipedia user account and joining our campaign dashboard is at our event registration page.
