In April, we will be celebrating Citizen Science Month!
Citizen science is an opportunity for the general public to participate and explore scientific research. Through citizen science, the public can collect and share information with researchers to better understand the world around us and lead discoveries. The best part is anyone can participate! Kids and adults can join a project of their interest, and no prior experience or knowledge is required.
Libraries can also have their very own citizen science project. Scistarter created helpful guides on building a citizen science kit for patrons to check out from their library. You can view all their kit guides here.

If you have any fun citizen science projects your doing, lets us know! Reach out to Yamila El-Khayat about your project.
