NCBI Hackathon Still Accepting Applications

The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) will assist in a bioinformatics hackathon at the New York Genome Center (NYGC). This hackathon will focus on advanced bioinformatics analysis of next generation sequencing (NGS) data, proteomics and metadata. They are looking for librarians who code to participate on a team to develop a curriculum for teaching advanced concepts and skills in data discovery and retrieval.
