New Webinar: Getting Started with the Public Health Digital Library Program

Posted by on April 28th, 2025 Posted in: Webinars and Courses

Are you new to the Public Health Digital Library (PHDL) Program? Attend the one-hour introductory webinar, Getting Started with the PHDL, on May 13, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. MT to learn how to make the most of this valuable resource. The session is ideal for those just starting with the PHDL or anyone looking for a refresher on the basics.

If your department is part of the PHDL Program, you have access to over 300 trusted resources, including full-text journals, e-books, and public health databases. This session will help you get started by introducing:

  • How to use PubMed to search the journal collection
  • Key databases available through the PHDL
  • How to access materials not available in the PHDL from your partner library

To participate fully, you will need to be on your organization’s network or working from your office, or log in to your single sign-on account, to access the PHDL central webpage. Unsure if your department is a member? Check the directory of PHDL Program Members and Partner Libraries to confirm that your organization participates in the program. Questions? Please reach out to phdl@umassmed.edu.

Register now to get acquainted with the PHDL and start using its evidence-based resources to support your work. Can’t attend live? Register anyway to receive a link to the recording after the session.
