NLM Office Hours: Dataset Catalog on April 11

Posted by on February 26th, 2024 Posted in: #CC/Academic List, #Health Interest List, #Health Sciences List, Data Science, Webinars and Training

Join us for another National Library of Medicine (NLM) Office Hour on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. Mountain Time. This session will focus on the beta version of a new online tool, the Dataset Catalog. The Dataset Catalog is envisioned to be a freely available catalog of biomedical datasets from selected publicly available repositories. It is designed to improve the discoverability and reuse of research data by making it easier for users to search, find, retrieve, and connect biomedical datasets using standardized metadata. The Dataset Catalog team will demonstrate the beta tool’s functionality, features, and benefits before answering your questions. Registration is required.

To submit questions in advance, please send them to NLMTrainers@nih.gov with the subject line: “NLM Office Hours.”

Is there an NLM product you would like to know more about? Send requests for future office hour topics through the NLM Support Center using the subject line: “NLM Office Hour Request.”

Subscribe to NLM Technical Bulletin email updates for notifications about future NLM Office Hours.

NLM Office Hours are hosted by the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) and offer one credit of Medical Library Association (MLA) continuing education (CE). Registration is limited to 300 participants.
