On-Demand Training: An Introduction to ClinicalTrials.gov

Posted by on November 14th, 2024 Posted in: All Members, Webinars and Training

Learn how to use the modernized ClinicalTrials.gov website in the new on-demand course, “An Introduction to ClinicalTrials.gov.” This free course, offered through the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) Moodle platform, is designed for users that have little to no experience with ClinicalTrials.gov. The instruction covers the ClinicalTrials.gov user groups, the definition of clinical trials, and the policies and regulations that impact registration. Learners will watch video tutorials, take quizzes, and engage in a hands-on activity with the database.

Upon completion of the course, learners will be able to:

  1. Explain the significance of ClinicalTrials.gov.
  2. Understand search results.
  3. Navigate and identify tabs and sections of study records.

Register and immediately access the course here.

A free NNLM account is required to register and access the course. NNLM offers a variety of online, on-demand and in-person training opportunities to support professional development and continuing education for librarians, educators, and health professionals.
