Phase 2 of the NIH Preprint Pilot is Now Live!

Phase 2 of the NIH Preprint pilot is now live! This phase expands the scope of preprints included in PMC and PubMed beyond COVID, including all preprints reporting NIH-funded research posted to an eligible preprint server.

With the launch of Phase 2, preprints following the criteria mentioned are being added to PMC weekly and are receiving a corresponding citation in PubMed to ensure broadest discovery and maximize the impact of NIH research.
