Dear Region 4 Members,

We need your help!

Does your MLA Chapter or local consortium have a speaker they’d like to bring in or maybe host a book or journal club discussing important issues surrounding health information access?

Maybe you’d like to bring a speaker to your library or even licenses one of those online learning webinars to help you and your team get better at what you do?

How can you help?

We have ten $2,000 (up to) Professional Development Awards we need to distribute to members in Region 4.  The deadline to apply is February 15, 2023. Activities need to be completed by April 30, 2023.

Pro Tip! As you think about putting your application together, frame your approach to fit the purpose of these awards – – to strengthen the professional knowledge and experience of network members in health data related services or health information access/delivery, build professional capacity in support of the mission of the NNLM, and enable libraries and other organizations to train staff in skills needed to deliver reliable health information.
