R4 Connections Year 5 Wrap Up

As we wrap up another year of providing learning opportunities via our R4 Connections webinar series, it is time to take a step back and look at the feedback we have received. From May 2025 through April 2026, our webinar series served as a hub for connection and learning. We are proud of the variety of session topics we were able to offer.

By the Numbers

• 5 R4 Connections webinars totaling 600 registrants:
  • How Libraries Can Help Address Complex Health and Research Challenges (July 2025)
  • Why Access & Functional Needs Should Be Everyone’s Priority in Community Preparedness (September 2025)
  • Disabled in the Wild: A Beginner’s Guide to Chronic Illness & Disabilities in the Outdoors (November 2025)
  • SolarSPELL Health: Information Access for Healthcare Workers and Communities Around the World (January 2026)
  • Designing and Implementing a Statewide Subsidized Article Delivery Service (March 2026)
• Received 128 responses to our post-session survey
• Attendees work in a wide variety of settings, such as higher education, medical facilities, government, and public health. The top organization type respondents work at are health sciences libraries (20%) followed by college/university libraries excluding community colleges (18%).

Select Survey Questions

• On a scale of 1-10, 95% of respondents answered with an ‘8’ or higher, saying they are likely to recommend future NNLM classes/webinars like the one they attended.
• On a scale of 1-5, 98% of respondents rated our sessions as a ‘4’ or higher in terms of being engaging, relevant, and accessible.
• On a scale of 1-5, 90% of respondents rated our sessions as a ‘4’ or higher, indicating they would utilize the knowledge from our sessions in future settings.
