We are excited to invite you to join the next NNLM Book Discussion featuring The Invisible Kingdom: Reimagining Chronic Illness by Meghan O’Rourke. This thought-provoking book explores the realm of chronic illnesses that often go undiagnosed and unrecognized, shedding light on the experiences of those affected by conditions that are often misunderstood and overlooked.

August 14 to October 31, 2023

In addition to the online Moodle discussion and resources, we have scheduled two live discussions to facilitate engaging conversations among participants. The first live discussion will be on Tuesday, September 26th, at 9 am PT / 10 am MT / 11 am CT / 12 pm ET. The second live discussion will occur on Wednesday, October 25th, at 12 pm PT / 1 pm MT / 2 pm CT / 3 pm ET. These discussions will provide an excellent opportunity to share insights and perspectives with fellow professionals and deepen our understanding of chronic illness.

Participating in the NNLM Book Discussion will deepen your understanding of health issues faced by individuals in your community and earn Continuing Education Credit.  To join the book discussion, acquire a copy of The Invisible Kingdom in your preferred format and start reading. On August 14th, join Moodle to explore related resources and participate in either the online discussion or one of the live discussions.

For more training and events, visit the NNLM Event Calendar.
