- Drive Thru Data: Using NLM APIs to Access Information Fast on May 14, 2024: This webinar is aimed at librarians and other information professionals who are familiar with NLM’s products and services, but want to explore NLM data in new ways.
- Know Your Flow on May 21, 2024: The purpose of the webinar is to introduce Know Your Flow. Speakers will provide background for why the project was developed, demonstrate the new website, and explain how you can participate to raise awareness of period poverty and improve access to period products, advance menstruation and menopause health information, and reduce the stigma associated with menstruation and menopause.
- The NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy for Non-data Librarians on May 29: If you have heard of the new NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy but are unsure what it is, yet still may want to inform researchers how to apply it, then this session is for you! Move from “we don’t do that” to “I can help with the basics” if you are asked about library support for NIH-funded researchers.
- Telehealth 101: What Libraries Need to Know Course (June 10-July 8, 2024): This class introduces telehealth, why it’s important, and how it enables people to have greater access to quality healthcare. Explore how different libraries provided patrons in their communities with access to telehealth services.
- 5 Steps to an Accessible Document on June 27, 2024: This 90-minute, hands-on class will cover how to make documents created in Word and PowerPoint accessible to those who use screen reader technology. During the class, we’ll work on sample files together.
