What health literacy means to me – Dana Abbey

Posted by on September 29th, 2021 Posted in: Blog

Health Literacy Month is just around the corner!

Being confident in one’s health decisions, even if it can’t change the outcome is what health literacy means to me. As an information professional, I recommend the Readability Test Tool. This resource provides a free, quick and easy way to test the readability of your communications. It is the most flexible readability software for assessing readability formulas. You can test all, or part of a web page with the URL, or simply type in your text. You can also test any text.
