The PNC-MLA Health Equity and Diversity Speaker Series is a collaboration between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nnlm.gov\/about\/regions\/region5\">NNLM Region 5<\/a> and Pacific Northwest Chapter\/Medical Library Association (PNC-MLA) through the efforts of its Diversity Committee. The session is free; however, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nnlm.gov\/training\/class\/demystifying-lis-profession-bipoc-undergraduate-students-bipoc-become-librarians\">registration<\/a> is required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Session Title:<\/strong> Demystifying LIS Profession to BIPOC Undergraduate Students: BIPOC Become Librarians<\/p>\n<p><strong>Date &amp; Time:<\/strong> Thursday, December 5, 2024 at noon MT (1 hour)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description:<\/strong> In this presentation, our guest presenter will share the premise of the IMLS-funded program &#8216;BIPOC Become Librarians,&#8217; which is to address the lack of diversity in the LIS profession.
