The modules cover Research Data Management, Data Sharing, Data Ethics, and Open Science and each consist of approximately four hours of readings, videos, knowledge checks, and assignments. While each module provides an in-depth overview of these topics, completion of the Data Services On Demand (DSOD) in its entirety provides foundational knowledge for beginning as a data librarian. Each module is approved for 4 Medical Library Association (MLA) continuing education credits.
