NLM is a global leader in biomedical informatics and computational health data science and the world\u2019s largest biomedical library. NLM\u2019s legislative mandate is to support the essential work of acquiring, organizing, preserving, and disseminating biomedical information. NLM provides public access to this information 24 hours a day, seven days a week.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"relative p-1 rounded-sm flex items-center justify-center bg-token-main-surface-primary text-token-text-primary h-8 w-8\">Position duties include:<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Have primary responsibility for administering (in partnership with NLM Extramural Programs) and coordinating the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM).<\/li>\n<li>Manage policy, administrative and programmatic matters pertaining to the NNLM, and provide overall planning of NNLM programs.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the coordination of NLM&#8217;s programs in engaging and training a variety of audiences to support the NLM and NIH mission. Use knowledge of assessment and management of engagement and outreach to ensure the work of the office meets the needs of NLM, NIH and NNLM audiences and stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the programs of the NNLM Cooperative Agreements and ensures they align with the goals and objectives of the NNLM program. Work with the Division of Extramural Programs, lead a team of project scientists who ensure the programs are effectively meeting the needs of the Network.<\/li>\n<li>Be responsible for recommendations concerning allocation of resources to the Program. Develop policies and guidelines for NNLM operations.<\/li>\n<li>Lead and provide technical direction to employees to accomplish specific tasks, produce work products and meet project goals through knowledge and application of leadership and team building skills and techniques, integration of work processes and products, obtaining resources, and liaison with the supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>Salary and Benefits: <\/strong>$142,488 &#8211; $185,234 per year.
