Several additions and changes were made to the Index and Schedules based on this review. All main index headings are now linked to the 2026 vocabulary in the MeSH Browser. Additional minor updates were made to the Index and Schedules.<\/p>\n<h3>Summary of Updates<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>11 New Class Numbers<\/li>\n<li>8 Modified Class Numbers<\/li>\n<li>3 Modified Range Headers<\/li>\n<li>27 New Index Headings, including 21 from 2026 MeSH<\/li>\n<li>6 Modified Index Headings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Notably, only a select subset of the 160 new MeSH descriptors were added to the NLM Classification index.
