For those who aren&#8217;t aware, the National Library of Medicine was able to secure partial funding that extends the NNLM Region 4 program through April 30, 2027. Other regions, centers, and offices, including the National Training Office, also received funding.<\/p>\n<p>During this 12-month extension, Region 4 will continue delivering essential training and community engagement programming as well as Professional Development Award funding opportunities for NNLM Region 4 members.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that while NNLM&#8217;s mission remains the same, we will be operating with a smaller staff. We appreciate your patience as we navigate this transition.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What Happens to the NNLM After April 2027?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The NNLM is a competitive five-year program. Information about the forecasted NNLM Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the next cycle can be found at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.grants.gov\">grants.gov<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stay in the Loop<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We will be sharing more health information access related news and updates throughout the coming months.
