Introducing Region 5’s New Grant Manager

Maya sitting in a forrestWe’re glad to welcome and introduce to you our new NNLM Region 5 Grant Manager, Maya Kimura.

Maya brings extensive experience in research administration, grants management, finance, and operations at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Research Institute. She’s thrilled to be able to support the mission of the NLM R5 team.

As a longtime resident of Seattle, she loves all manner of dogs and cats, enjoys pollinator/native flora and fauna friendly gardening, and visiting the many beautiful public green and blue spaces in the community.
