A Message from Tania Bardyn

Posted by on November 8th, 2023 Posted in: News from NNLM Region 5

We thank Tania Bardyn, former PI of NNLM Region 5, for the following guest post.

Dear NNLM Region 5,

I am writing to let you know that effective October 1, 2023 I have accepted a position as PI Senior Director, HEALWA and Community Partnerships working with Washington healthcare providers to improve healthcare outcomes and providing statewide clinical information outreach. Clinical information outreach has been near and dear to me, and the state-wide contract for service was renewed by the Washington Department of Health for five years.

I am no longer serving as the Associate Dean for Health Sciences and PI/Director, Network of the National Library of Medicine, Region 5. The Dean of University Libraries, Simon Neame, is serving as interim PI/Director for NNLM Region 5.  It has been a true honor serving the NNLM and working with you for the past 12 years as PI for NNLM Region 5 and NNLM Pacific Northwest Region (PNR). I will continue working at UW Libraries and look forward to staying in touch.

Best wishes,
Tania Bardyn
