Tomorrow, on August 19th we will hear from Gail Kouame, Assistant Director for HEALWA (Health Evidence Resource for Washington State) about this unique program and resource for health practitioners. For the price of a few lattes, eligible health practitioners in Washington have access to a digital library of rich resources like DynaMed, Cochrane, CINAHL, and new this year, the Joanne Briggs Collection. How is this possible? Tune in and find out!Join us for this informative session to learn about this great resource and who is eligible so that you can inform the health care professionals you serve. Don’t reside in Washington state? Come learn about the program and pass the information to your health care professionals to encourage their states to fund a similar initiative as one way to boost the health of their citizens especially those in rural areas who may have few available resources.
To attend go to http://webmeeting.nih.gov/rendezvous and login as a Guest, using your own name. Once logged into the web meeting, a pop-up box allows you to put in your phone number and the program will call you. If this does not happen, just call the 800 number and use the participant code that appears in the Notes box on the screen.
If you are unable to tune in live, we invite you to view a recording of the webcast, posted on the Rendezvous website later.
The PNR Rendezvous webcast sessions are eligible for 1 hour of Medical Library Association continuing education (MLA CE) for attending the webcast or listening to the recording. A brief online evaluation form link will be offered at a website that is provided during the end of the webcast. Upon completion of the survey, you will be able to download the certificate.
As part of our Federal agency services regarding electronic and information technology resources being accessible to people with disabilities, closed captioning is available on this and future PNR Rendezvous webcasts.
