Consumer Health Minute: Introducing Your Community to MedlinePlus

MedlinePlus has trusted information for your family. health conditions medical tests medications dietary supplements healthy recipesAs someone who provides health information, you know that MedlinePlus is a trustworthy and authoritative resource. But your patrons or clients may tend to search for health information by randomly searching the internet which can be frustrating and tiring for them to figure out what information is quality information. But how to bring awareness of MedlinePlus?

One way is through featuring it on social media and in your news channels.  MedlinePlus has a social media toolkit. All you have to do is post the provided text and graphics. You can post about MedlinePlus or highlight a feature such as the Healthy Recipes or Medical Tests.

Regularly featuring MedlinePlus will help your community get better acquainted with a health information resource they know they can trust.
