Aundria Parkman, MLS, ILL library technician at Tulane University Rudolph Matas Library of the Health Sciences, was a participant in the 2022 NNLM National Center for Data Services (NCDS)’s Data Internship program. Associate Director for the NCDS, Peace Ossom-Williamson notes that, “Aundria had the insight and awareness that many are interested in what data librarianship is, and what skills and resources may be useful for pursuing such a career. Last year she began developing a collaborative guide of resources, trainings, and tools for a career in research data services.” The guide is currently open, and anyone can contribute to it.

Version 2 of the guide has been published with more resources contributed by the data community. You can visit and download the guide here. And you can contribute toward the development and growth of the guide here.

If you are interested in learning more about the NCDS Data Internship Program, you can checkout the webpage here.
