The National Center for Data Services (NCDS) of the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) provides internships for people from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups. These are paid opportunities to work in a guided environment on structured data-related projects as practical experiences outside of the classroom with mentoring. The goal of this program is to introduce students from historically excluded racial and ethnic groups to data librarianship within the health sciences and provide practical experiences that provide them with skills needed to enter data librarian positions.

Please register and join us on February 15, 2022 at 12PT/1MT/2CT/3ET while we provide an overview of the NCDS internship, including steps toward applying, timeline, and more.

Registration is open.

This session does not offer MLA CE.
