Hello from NNLM Region 5 staff: Lisa Guerrero

Posted by on August 10th, 2021 Posted in: News from NNLM Region 5

Hello, I’m Lisa Guerrero, Grants Manager/Budget Analyst for Region 5 of the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) which includes Alaska, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and the U.S. Territories and Freely Associated States. The Region 5 office is located at the University of Washington Health Sciences Library.

I handle subawards, proposal submission, budgeting, invoicing, and business office operations.  It is a pleasure to work with the Region 5 Team.  I have learned that the profession of Librarian is so much more than what the average person would expect.   Prior to this position I worked at the UW Office of Sponsored Programs and held various accounting positions in County and State Government.

My husband and I are proud parents of twin sons (recent graduates of Washington State University).  Which leads to my never-ending hobby of scrapbooking.  I have saved too many elementary school papers, middle school projects, photos of high school activities and treasure it all.

Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me.
