LinkOut at MLA

Posted by on June 1st, 2005 Posted in: News from NLM

A summary of the 2005 LinkOut User Meeting, held annually at MLA, is now available on the LinkOut website. The summary provides an outline of the material presented at the meeting, as well as links to the presentations given.

We invite those who were not able to join us to review the meeting materials and provide feedback at lib-linkout@ncbi.nlm.nih.gov.

The theme of this year’s meeting was “Localizing PubMed”. The material presented included new developments to make it easier for libraries to link patrons to local resources, as well as preliminary plans for redesigning both the Library Submission Utility and the LinkOut website. Your feedback on these developments and future plans to lib-linkout@ncbi.nlm.nih.gov is
much appreciated.

Summaries and materials from past meetings are also now available on the LinkOut website at http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/linkout/doc/linkoutmla.html,
