Join your colleagues on Wednesday, November 10th from 11am-12:30pm (Pacific time) for the Medical Library Association (MLA) webcast ABCs of E-books: Strategies for the Medical Library. The goal of this webcast is to familiarize information professionals with electronic books and the associated collection management issues related to various platforms, pricing models, licensing agreements, term of ownership, resource management and access methods so that they have the knowledge to make informed decisions which will best serve their constituents. Presenters include Mark Funk, AHIP, FMLA; Elizabeth Lorbeer, AHIP, Meg White, and Karen Fischer.
