NCBI Training Opportunities

Want to know more about the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) resources, for yourself or your researchers? Please see theĀ  task-specific online tutorials about NCBI databases. In addition, the NN/LM’s National Training Center offers online training for TOXNET, in a 4-week asynchonous class. Dates for the next class are: Monday October 5, 2015 – November 2, 2015.

NCBI also provides online webinars on genome and genetics research. Archived content for past webinars is available. A in-person workshop will be held June 30 – July 2, 2015 at the City of Hope National Medical Center – Duarte, CA. Please consider applying for a NN/LM PNR Professional Development Award to attend.
