	The Medical Library Association’s Master Guide to Authoritative Information Resources in the Health Sciences. Edited by Laurie  L. Thompson. New York, NY: Neal-Schuman, 2011. This guide identifies and describes over 2,000 titles in the health sciences literature and includes clinical specialties, subspecialties, basic sciences and emerging disciplines.
	Position Descriptions in Health Sciences Libraries: Traditional and Emerging Roles. Compiled by Karen D. McMullen and Felicia Yeh. Chicago, IL: Medical Library Association, 2012. This MLA DocKit surveyed individual and institutions to determine current information on the roles and duties of librarians today, as shaped by technological advancements.
	The Fourth Paradigm: Data-Intensive Scientific Discovery. Edited by Tony Hey, Stewart Tansley and Kristin Tolle. Redmond, WA: Microsoft Research, 2009. This book presents a broad look at the emerging field of data-intensive science, with the goal of influencing the scientific and computing research communities.
	The Accidental Health Sciences Librarian.By Lisa A. Ennis and Nicole Mitchell. Medford, NJ: Information Today, Inc., 2010. The authors present a thorough and up-to-date overview along with guidance on a range of critical resources, tools and functions.
	Leveraging Mobile Technologies for Health Sciences Libraries. MLA Webcast, April 18, 2012. Presenters Colleen Cuddy, Heather Holmes, Molly Knapp, Kimberley Barker, and Alisha Miles define how mobile technology can be used and integrated into clinical settings and discuss challenges and opportunities.
