NN/LM PNR Staff News

Posted by on September 23rd, 2013 Posted in: News From NNLM PNR

Nikki

Nikki Dettmar, Education and Assessment Coordinator for the NN/LM PNR, is going back to school for a second masters degree in Learning Technologies.

Since starting her position in the PNR office, Nikki has shown great interest in web-deliverable interactive, self-paced lessons, tutorials, and learning objects that extend NN/LM educational activities. She has served as host of the PNR monthly webinar series, RML Rendezvous, identifying best practices to improve its programming and delivery. Also, Nikki created the Moodle-based “Making Connections: Electronic Health Records and Librarians” online class, which was the first of its kind.

To pursue her studies, Nikki has resigned from her full time position effective October 15th, but intends to work part-time to help support the PNR during a transition period.

Please join me in congratulating Nikki as she embarks on making a career change to online instructional design and teaching!
