Congratulations to OHSU Library!

Posted by on November 4th, 2009 Posted in: News From NNLM PNR

Chris Shaffer and the Oregon Health & Science University Library are part of a national consortium recently awarded NIH funding to implement a Federated National Informatics Network.  This web-based initiative, called the eagle-i Consortium,  will be developed by OHSU and 8 other universities–led by Harvard Medical School.  Funding is from the National Center for Research Resources (NCRR), part of the NIH.

As one of 2 major awards made NCRR, Director Barbara Alving, M.D. states: “The infrastructure created and implemented through these awards has the potential to greatly facilitate the pace of biomedical research nationwide.”

For more information about the project,  see announcements on OHSU’s library website, and  the Harvard Clinical and Translational Science Center.
