The National Library of Medicine’s Technical Bulletin announces changes for MeSH, or Medical Subject Headings, which is the controlled vocabulary used to index articles for Medline/PubMed and other databases. Read about the changes, which include new publication types (Blogs, Graphic Novels, Public Service Announcements) the continuing project to add scope notes for each heading, changes in indexing for High Profile Pharmaceuticals, and new ways to search for the concept of Diagnostic Use.
