{"id":13029,"date":"2015-11-09T07:39:26","date_gmt":"2015-11-09T15:39:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nnlm.gov\/pnr\/dragonfly\/?p=13029"},"modified":"2026-02-03T17:09:29","modified_gmt":"2026-02-03T17:09:29","slug":"upcoming-webinars-pnr-partners-and-pnr-rendezvous","status":"archive","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.nnlm.gov\/region_5\/upcoming-webinars-pnr-partners-and-pnr-rendezvous\/","title":{"rendered":"Upcoming webinars:  PNR Partners and PNR Rendezvous"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The PNR\u00a0has\u00a0two upcoming webinars this month. \u00a0The first is PNR Partners which showcases our PNR funded recipients. \u00a0Thursday, November 12th at 1pm Pacific Time (noon Alaska Time, 2pm Mountain Time), we have Shelley Dougherty, Executive Director \u00a0for Oregon Pacific AHEC who will tell us about her project,\u00a0 <em>Environmental Health Connection for Rural Oregon Schools<\/em>,\u00a0that engaged middle school students in the world of scientific inquiry to create healthier communities and prepare them academically as they explored career options. \u00a0We also will have Jackie Wirz,\u00a0Research Data Specialist at Oregon Health &amp; Science University who will present information about the <em>Pacific Research Data Symposium\u00a0<\/em>where researchers, students, and librarians shared their work in the world of data.<\/p>\n<p>Do you have some ideas for programs or services in your library but aren&#8217;t quite sure how to implement them? This is a great time to ask questions about funded projects and to consider applying for funding from the NN\/LM PNR to start your own projects for\u00a0your communities.
