DeBakey Library Services Outreach Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From the Friends of the National Library of Medicine:<\/p>\n<p>The Friends of the National Library of Medicine (<a href=\"http:\/\/fnlm.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/fnlm.org\/<\/a>) seek your nominations for this year\u2019s Michael E. DeBakey Library Services Outreach Award.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>NOMINATIONS<\/u>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nominees must be currently employed as a health sciences librarian and have worked in such a position for at least five years immediately preceding the award.<\/li>\n<li>The nomination may be made for contributions by the librarian as demonstrated by excellence and achievement in leadership, publications, teaching, research, special projects or any combination of these.<\/li>\n<li>Nominations must be in writing and contain at least the following elements:\n<ul>\n<li>The official nomination form<\/li>\n<li>A precise description of the nominee\u2019s achievements, no more than 5 pages please<\/li>\n<li>A current resume or curriculum vitae<\/li>\n<li>Any additional information that would assist the jury in the evaluation of the nomination and selection of the recipient.
