In this case, a free, online DATA FAIR!\u00a0 Next week, October 1 through 5, ICPSR<\/a> (the international data consortium\/data archive\/data education and research organization) will be holding the 2018 ICPSR Data Fair\u00a0<\/a>.\u00a0 The number of offerings is impressive, and there\u2019s enough variety that there\u2019s something for everyone\u2014diversity and inclusion, training, sharing, tools, and more.\u00a0 You register for each session individually (but don\u2019t forget the Tweetchats!).\u00a0\u00a0 Best of all, no costs for registration or travel!<\/p>\n

And, if online learning and participation is appealing, you might also consider involving your library or organization in International Open Access Week<\/a>, October 22-28.\u00a0 You can share a blog post about your open access \u201csuccesses, challenges and ideas\u201d, and see what others are doing around the world.<\/p>\n
