Preference will be given to proposals submitted by public libraries, or to organizations with plans to collaborate with a public library partner.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/pnr\">NNLM PNR<\/a> member organizations in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington are eligible to apply.\u00a0 \u00a0If your organization is not currently a member, it&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/pnr\/members\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">easy to join<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>If you intend to submit an application for either award, we need a Letter of Intent no later than <strong>Wednesday, April 3, <\/strong>that provides a brief summary of the project you will propose and the type of award you will apply for.\u00a0 Please send\u00a0 your Letter of Intent to <a href=\"mailto:nnlm@uw.edu\">nnlm@uw.edu<\/a> and include the type of award in the subject line.\u00a0 The deadline for submitting your completed application for either award is <strong>May 1, 2019 at 3:00 Pacific Time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Keep reading to find brief descriptions and links to detailed information about these funding opportunities.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/pnr\/funding\/nnlm-all-us-community-engagement-award\"><strong>NNLM <em>All of Us<\/em> Community Engagement Award<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>2 or more awards, each up to $100,000<\/p>\n<p>Goals of the award include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To improve consumer access to high quality health information.<\/li>\n<li>To support health literacy education and outreach.<\/li>\n<li>To raise the public\u2019s awareness of the <em>All of Us<\/em> Research Program.<\/li>\n<li>To improve understanding and importance of participation in clinical trials, including the <em>All of Us<\/em>\u00a0Research Program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/pnr\/funding\/nnlm-all-us-health-literacy-outreach-award\">NNLM <em>All of Us<\/em> Health Literacy Outreach Award<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2 or more awards, each up to $19,000<\/p>\n<p>Goals of the award include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To increase awareness of the NIH <em>All of Us<\/em> Research Program.<\/li>\n<li>To increase health literacy education and outreach.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For tips about programming ideas and resources you may want to incorporate in your proposed project for either of the 2 above awards, watch this<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/Gkc6GZbVyFA\">\u00a0recording<\/a> featuring Michele Spatz, NNLM PNR <em>All of Us<\/em> Engagement Coordinator.<\/p>\n<p>We want to fund good ideas and hope to see proposals from all states of the NNLM PNR!<\/p>\n<p>If you have a question, please drop us a line (<a>nnlm@uw.edu<\/a>).
