In this role, I provide training on resources provided by the National Library of Medicine, <a href=\"https:\/\/news.nnlm.gov\/region_5\/changes-to-docline-support\/\">support DOCLINE users<\/a>, manage the <a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/membership\/directory?combine=&amp;region_8%5B5%5D=5&amp;city=&amp;state_province_id=All\">members directory<\/a> and all things membership-related for Region 5 (<a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/membership\/join\">join NNLM today!<\/a>), and do outreach to hospital, health sciences, and academic librarians, public health workers, and more. After moving to Seattle in 2016, I worked at the Seattle Public Library and then in technical support at ProQuest. I joined the NNLM in 2019 as an Outreach Coordinator for the Pacific Northwest Region. I\u2019m active in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ala.org\/rusa\/\">Reference and User Services Association<\/a> (RUSA) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ala.org\/rusa\/sections\/codes\">Collection Development and Evaluation Section<\/a> (CODES) and currently serve on RUSA\u2019s Budget and Finance Committee.<\/p>\n<p>Outside of work, I enjoy hanging out with my husband and our dog, Sodapop (yes, our dog is named after Sodapop Curtis from S.E. Hinton\u2019s <em>The Outsiders<\/em>), reading, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seattle.gov\/neighborhoods\/programs-and-services\/p-patch-community-gardening\">community gardening<\/a>, and am learning how to weave. I&#8217;m a bread baker and bake regularly for <a href=\"https:\/\/communityloaves.org\/\">Community Loaves<\/a>, program for home bakers in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho to provide bread for local food pantries.<\/p>\n<p>My email address is <a href=\"mailto:ehamstra@uw.edu\">ehamstra@uw.edu<\/a>.
