NNLM Region 5: Year 2 Funding Opportunities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are excited to share that NNLM Region 5 will soon announce NEW funding opportunities to support Region 5 member organization projects conducted between May 1, 2022 \u2013 April 30, 2023.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our new awards will include: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Health Information Outreach Subaward: <\/strong>a minimum of 1 award for up to $25,000;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Express Outreach Awards Addressing Environmental Health Justice: <\/strong>a minimum of 2 awards for up to $5,000 each;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Express Outreach Awards Addressing Health Misinformation: <\/strong>a minimum of 3 awards for up to $5,000 each;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Express Outreach Awards Addressing Technology Equity: <\/strong>a minimum of 2 awards for up to $5,000 each<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Interested?<\/strong> Here are a few tips to help you get ready to apply for an award:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Make sure your organization is an NNLM Region 5 member (it\u2019s free!). Locate your organizations\u2019 NNLM ID using the <a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/membership\/directory\">NNLM membership directory<\/a>. If you need help, please contact Emily Hamstra, Region 5 Outreach &amp; Access Coordinator at: <a href=\"mailto:ehamstra@uw.edu\">ehamstra@uw.edu<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Make sure your institution has a Tax ID number AND a DUNS\/UEI number. If you don\u2019t have one, you can apply for one <a href=\"https:\/\/fedgov.dnb.com\/webform\/\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Timeline <\/strong>for our upcoming awards cycle:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>February 15, 2022: <\/strong>the Request for Applications (RFAs) are posted to nnlm.gov\/funding with detailed instructions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>March 15, 2022: <\/strong>an email to <a href=\"mailto:nnlm@uw.edu\">nnlm@uw.edu<\/a> stating your intent to apply for one of the NNLM Region 5 awards is due by 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time.<\/li>\n<li><strong>April 12, 2022: <\/strong>Application deadline. Applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Questions?
