{"id":20108,"date":"2022-03-16T00:08:08","date_gmt":"2022-03-16T00:08:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.nnlm.gov\/region_5\/?p=20108"},"modified":"2022-03-16T18:20:44","modified_gmt":"2022-03-16T18:20:44","slug":"mla-graduate-student-virtual-conference-registration-award-announced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.nnlm.gov\/region_5\/mla-graduate-student-virtual-conference-registration-award-announced\/","title":{"rendered":"MLA Graduate Student Virtual Conference Registration Award Announced!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Network of the National Library of Medicine Region 5 (NNLM Region 5) is excited to announce a new student award to support graduate students\u2019 interest in the field of medical librarianship and health information.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/a3YNPEq8jLvZBNjU9\"><b>MLA Graduate Student Virtual Conference Registration Award<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">: Up to 10 graduate students will receive a free registration code for the virtual<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mlanet.org\/mla22\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> 2022 Medical Library Association (MLA) Annual Meeting<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u00a0 To apply you will need to complete a brief application, estimated to take 5-10 minutes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/a3YNPEq8jLvZBNjU9\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Award application<\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To be eligible students must meet both of the following criteria:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Current graduate student living in, or attending a graduate school located in, NNLM Region 5. Region 5\u00a0 includes Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Hawai&#8217;i, and Pacific U.S. Associated Territories and Freely Associated States.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Current graduate student in Library and Information Science, Public Health, or related field.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Application Deadline: <\/span><b>Friday, March 25, 2022<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This award supports the mission of the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM) which is to provide U.S. researchers, health professionals, public health workforce, educators, and the public with equal access to biomedical and health information resources and data.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Questions?
