Start here."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NNLM Region 5 provides funding to Region 5 member organizations for programming, outreach, and technology that improves access to health information. On December 13, 2023, Region 5 will post Request for Applications\/ Notice of Funding Opportunities for our next round of funding. It&#8217;s never too early to begin planning your application. We have four tips to support your application process:<\/p>\n<h1>1. Review the Request for Applications (RFA) and Timeline<\/h1>\n<p>Pending budget availability, funding opportunities include:<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nnlm.gov\/funding\/rfa\/technology-improvement-award-Y4\">Technology Improvement Award<\/a>, to increase access to<\/strong> <strong>technology<\/strong>, 4 awards, $5,000 each<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nnlm.gov\/funding\/rfa\/outreach-engagement-award-Y4\">Outreach &amp; Engagement Award<\/a>, for programming or special projects<\/strong>, 1 award, $25,000<\/p>\n<p>Timeline:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>December 13, 2023: Requests for Applications\/ Notice of Funding Opportunities posted to NNLM.gov<\/li>\n<li>February 14, 2024, 5:00 P.M. Pacific Time: Letters of Intent due<\/li>\n<li>April 2, 2024, 5:00 P.M. Pacific Time: Applications due<\/li>\n<li>June 1, 2024: Funded projects begin<\/li>\n<li>April 2025: Final reports due for funded projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>2. This also gives Region 5 staff an opportunity to go over the application requirements with you, and answer questions you have about the award scope or application process.
