Nationally, over 9,000 organizations are members of the NNLM.<\/p>\n<p>NNLM staff maintain a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nnlm.gov\/membership\/directory\">members directory<\/a> listing our members. The members directory includes information about a member organization&#8217;s location, website, and liaison. The liaison is the NNLM\u2019s main point of contact for the member organization. The members directory is publicly available, and fosters the connections that make the NNLM a network. Looking for collaborators for your next health information project? Search the members directory to find similar organizations and nearby contacts.<\/p>\n<p>Members, to help NNLM Region 5 staff keep the members directory current, please review your membership record. To do this:<\/p>\n<p>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nnlm.gov\/membership\/directory\">members directory<\/a> and search for your organization name in \u201cquotes\u201d (example: &#8220;University of Washington&#8221;). Click on your organization&#8217;s name in the search results. Review:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Is the organizational name correct?<\/li>\n<li>Is the phone number current?<\/li>\n<li>Is the mailing address correct?<\/li>\n<li>Is the liaison contact current?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are the liaison for your organization, you may update your organization&#8217;s name, mailing address, or phone number:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Login to NNLM.gov with your username and password<\/li>\n<li>Go to \u201cUpdate My Profile\u201d (in the top right corner, under your name)<\/li>\n<li>Under the heading \u201cMy Organizations\u201d click &#8220;update organization\u201d (to the right of your organization&#8217;s name). If you are not the liaison for your organization, you will not see &#8220;update organization&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Update the address or other information and save.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If changes need to be made in liaison contacts, or if you have any questions about updating your organization\u2019s membership record, contact Emily (<a href=\"mailto:ehamstra@uw.edu\">ehamstra@uw.edu<\/a>) for help.<\/p>\n<p>Membership is free, allows an organization to apply for funding, and shows support for the NNLM program.
