The movie shares stories of substance use disorder and treatment told from the survivor\u2019s perspective. Virtual screening of the film will begin at 6 AM Pacific on <strong>Thursday, September 19, <\/strong>and run through 10 AM Pacific on\u00a0<strong>Thursday, September 26.<\/strong> When you <a href=\"https:\/\/watch.showandtell.film\/watch\/nnlm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">register for the free screening<\/a> at the producer&#8217;s website, you will be sent an email with a personal ticket link. Be sure to check your spam folder if it doesn&#8217;t hit your inbox!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Panel Discussion Webinar<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Following the screening period, a virtual panel discussion will take place on <strong>Thursday, September 26th<\/strong> at 12 PM Pacific. You can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nnlm.gov\/training\/class\/addicts-wake-virtual-film-screening-panel-discussion-webinar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">register for the panel discussion<\/a> at the NNLM website. The panel will include the film\u2019s director, Lori Hall, Dr. William Cooke, a community physician and author of <em>Canary in the Coal Mine<\/em>, and Dr. Lisa Witty. They will share their experiences and knowledge for recognizing, diagnosing, and supporting persons with substance use disorders while advocating for advances in prevention and recovery awareness and information for the broad impact of substance-use primarily in small and rural communities.
