Here are just a few.<\/p>\n<h3>Maternal Health Resources<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/medlineplus.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MedlinePlus<\/a><br \/>\nThis consumer health resource by the National Library of Medicine, includes a whole category on <a href=\"https:\/\/medlineplus.gov\/pregnancyandreproduction.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pregnancy and Reproduction<\/a>. Specific topics are listed alphabetically that include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Birth Weight<\/li>\n<li>Childbirth<\/li>\n<li>Diabetes and Pregnancy<\/li>\n<li>Prenatal Testing<\/li>\n<li>Postpartum Care<\/li>\n<li>Postpartum Depression<\/li>\n<li>Miscarriage<\/li>\n<li>Premature Babies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.acog.org\/womens-health\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Every Stage Health<\/a><br \/>\nThe information on Every Stage Health is developed by the American College of Obstetricians &amp; Gynecologists (ACOG), the nation\u2019s leading membership organization for ob-gyns. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acog.org\/womens-health\/pregnancy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pregnancy and topics related to pregnancy<\/a> are covered. You\u2019ll also find additionally related topics in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acog.org\/womens-health\/topics-a-z\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A-Z listing<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthychildren.org\/English\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HealthyChildren.org<\/a><br \/>\nThe American Academy of Pediatrics developed this website for parents and caregivers. Information is available in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthychildren.org\/english\/ages-stages\/pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ages and Stages<\/a> including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthychildren.org\/english\/ages-stages\/pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Prenatal<\/a>, Baby, all the way to Young Adult.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hrsa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HRSA<\/a><br \/>\nThe Health Resources and Services Administration has services to offer your patrons who are expecting or have babies.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hrsa.gov\/services\/healthy-start\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Healthy Start<\/a> is comprised of HRSA funded community based organizations that provides services for pregnant women and their babies that provide services and links to resources like transportation, education, or housing assistance. Use the link to <a href=\"https:\/\/mchb.hrsa.gov\/programs-impact\/healthy-start\/locator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">find a local Healthy State site<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/mchb.hrsa.gov\/programs-impact\/national-maternal-mental-health-hotline\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Maternal Mental Health Hotline<\/a> is staffed by trained counselors who are available 24\/7 by phone, text, or chat to provide confidential support.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hrsa.gov\/services\/maternal-infant-early-childhood-home-visiting-program\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Home Visits for Moms and Children<\/a> is a voluntary, free service for pregnant women and families with young children. Local programs provide voluntary ongoing home visits from nurses or counselors to provide support, education, and resources to promote the well-being of young families. Use the link to <a href=\"https:\/\/mchb.hrsa.gov\/programs-impact\/maternal-infant-early-childhood-home-visiting-miechv-program\/locator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">find a home visiting program<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/womenshealth.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Office on Women\u2019s Health<\/a><br \/>\nThe Office on Women\u2019s Health includes information on topics related to maternal health including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/womenshealth.gov\/patient-materials\/health-topic\/pregnancy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pregnancy<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/womenshealth.gov\/patient-materials\/health-topic\/breastfeeding\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Breastfeeding<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/womenshealth.gov\/patient-materials\/health-topic\/mental-health\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mental Health<\/a> (including postpartum depression)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The link to each topic may include fact sheets, infographics, infocards, guides, and videos.<\/p>\n<h4>Teen Pregnancy<\/h4>\n<p>Of course teens can use the resources already listed but here are a couple that are specifically written for teens.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kidshealth.org\/en\/teens.html\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nemour\u2019s Teen Health<\/a><br \/>\nThe Kids Health website also includes information for parents, educators and teens. They have information written for teens. Another bonus is the information is available in audio, Spanish and audio in Spanish. <a href=\"https:\/\/kidshealth.org\/en\/teens\/pregnancy.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Having a Healthy Pregnancy<\/a> includes information about prenatal care, emotional health, and school.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/youngwomenshealth.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Center for Young Women\u2019s Health<\/a><br \/>\nThis resource is a collaboration between the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine and the Division of Gynecology at Boston Children\u2019s Hospital. The Center is an educational entity that exists to provide adolescents of all genders with carefully researched health information, health education programs, and community spaces. Several topics are related to pregnancy but the <a href=\"https:\/\/youngwomenshealth.org\/guides\/pregnancy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pregnancy: General Information<\/a> is a good place to start. You\u2019ll notice related links to the right side of the screen, similar to MedlinePlus. Information is also available in Spanish.
